A nonprofit convening a network and inviting a supplier into it is new — nothing on the platform today lets one organization pull another into a shared space. Whether an NPO can invite a supplier directly, or has to go through GIK staff, or can only invite suppliers it already works with, is Decision 10, and it has no default. It is a trust question as much as a permission one: being named in someone else's coalition is not the same as appearing in a marketplace.

A mixed roster is v0.2's addition: members are nonprofits who receive and suppliers who stock it, and the network has to know which is which or step 5 cannot work. Your own row is the dark fill, not a tint — the standard keeps selection in greys.

What this network is asking you for

Pre-filled by the Hurricane template on the setup screen. These are open lines, not an order and not a commitment — you decide what to make available against them, and how much, on your own screen after joining.

Join this network?

Joining is drawn here as carrying no commitment to supply. The board puts step 5 — suppliers making items available — after step 4, as its own act, which reads as joining and stocking being two separate decisions. So this button puts you in the room and nothing more; what you send, if anything, is the next screen. That is Decision 9, and the default is the one drawn.

If accepting is meant to carry a commitment instead, this stops being an invitation and becomes closer to an agreement, which would put it with supplier-npo-agreements rather than here. Worth settling before either gets built, because the two readings need different records behind them.

Note also what this screen inverts. supplier-network-management models a roster you keep about organizations you give to, and they need not know they are on it. Here a nonprofit keeps the network and you are asked into it. Same word, opposite relationship — which is the argument that Decision 1 should land on two constructs rather than one.
